Finally, by Fergie

When Fergie first released her CD The Dutchess last summer, I wasn’t too crazy with her London Bridge or Fergalicious.

But then I saw her appeared on the Tyra Banks show in early November 2006.

Like usual, I didn’t enjoy the song Fergalicious but then her confession about her addiction to Meth was so genuine that I actually sat down in front of my TV and stopped doing what I was doing at the time.

Towards the end of the show, Fergie expressed that she’d like to sing something different from London Bridge or Fergalicious. I was a bit surprised when I saw a pianist came out to play. Fergie then went on and performed her song, Finally.

I was touched by the lyrics, but more surprisingly, I was amazed by the voice of Fergie. It was so beautiful and mesmerizing that up till now, I can still remember her performance on the Tyra Banks show.

Although I still don’t like London Bridge or Fergalicious, Fergie’s Finally is among my top pop favorites.
